Ramsés Morales' Computer Science Research.

Hello!

On June 25th of 2009 I defended my PhD thesis, Design of Availability-Dependent Distributed Services in Large-Scale Uncooperative Settings. In September of 2009 I joined Xerox Research Center in Webster, NY, as a Research Scientist, where I continued to do research and development in cloud computing, social networks, and information technology outsorcing. In August of 2011 I joined a Silicon Valley startup, Pattern Insight, which was acquired by VMware in July of 2102. Currently I'm part of R&D at VMware, creating the future of large scale log analysis.

I started my graduate studies in Computer Science the Fall Semester of 2003, after being awarded a Fulbright fellowship to be part of the MSCS program. I received my MSCS in 2005. Both my Master's and PhD research were done under Dr. Indranil Gupta's guidance, as part of the Distributed Protocols Research Group.
